Lorraine Jeanne Shamblott, 60, East Sixth Street, died Saturday, June 1, 1996, in St. Luke's Hospital.

Born in Cloquet, she was a 1953 graduate of Floodwood High School and a graduate of Duluth Business University. She was a homemaker, a member of Temple Israel and its sisterhood, and a life member of Hadassah. She served on the boards at Temple Israel and Tifereth Israel and was a secretary, treasurer and vice president at Temple Israel. She was also a secretary for the Duluth Bridge Club and a Silver Life Master at bridge. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star and a partner at Home Beautifier Co. Inc.

Her husband, Bernard, died Aug. 8, 1987, and her mother, Eva Yates Reimer, died Feb. 8, 1996. She is survived by a daughter, Raquel Rozenberg of New Hope, Minn.; two sons, Robert "Rob" of Duluth and Richard "Rick" of Plymouth, Minn.; her father, Clarence Reimer of Duluth; six grandchildren; and friend, Don Rockstad of Duluth.

Services: 1 p.m. today in Temple Israel. There will be no visitation. Burial will be in Tifereth Israel Cemetery in Rice Lake Township. Memorials to the Temple Israel-Lorraine Shamblott Memorial Fund would be appreciated. Arrangements are by Johnson Mortuary.
